Peal Guitars - Beware of Dealing with Ye-IL International

I just put up a page on the topic of Peal Guitars over on Guitar Players Toolbox. This is just a little off topic because it deals more with business-related issues than how to play guitar! However, I wanted to warn people about the risks involved with import/export scams based on my experience being scammed by Ye-Il International, the Seoul, Korea company that produces and markets Peal Guitars world-wide.

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with my dealings with this company and its owner, Mr. US Kwon. I ended up losing all the money I put into the transaction to import some Peal guitars into the U.S. Ah well, lessons learned! Read all about my problems with this company at:

My unhappy story of trying to buy Peal guitars from Ye-Il International.

Beware! I had the same thing happen to me. Over $1700 for 14 electrics. Same time frame- I wired money in January and still have seen nothing!

Me too! He stole alomst $5,000 from us in December 2007 and has strung us along ever since. We are now going to file a commercial crime complaint with our police department and I suggest you guys do the same. I spoke with someone at eBay who had something similar done to her by a person in the UK. She reported it to her local police department and they interfaced with London and the woman is now serving a sentence behind bars.

Better rewrite that on a PC and not Phone!

Yes, this company took my money to, after seeing and getting good samples to check over. Paid 30% as Normal, waited for final production, paid balance, then delay after delay. They reply from time to time, but still no goods. I am so upset about this! This order was placed in May 2009.

Any ideas out there?
